Resources and Customer Needs

Resources are an important part of each person’s work experience. No matter what our job may be, each person needs a certain level of resources to perform his or her job well. As a manager, one of your tasks is to secure and allocate resources in a way that enables each person to be successful. At the same time you need to balance these individual needs with any company requirements and limitations. More often than not, the reason your team exists is to deliver a great product or service to your customers. Whether you have external customers that purchase a product or service or internal customers who work for the company, you and your team members should be focused on delivering something great for your customers. So it only makes sense that when you make resource decisions you consider your customer’s needs and determine if the resource will help enhance the customer’s overall satisfaction and experience. By completing this course, you will be able to consider the customers’ needs when allocating resources. This course has been approved for 1 hour of PDU credit from PMI (Project Management Institute).
